Return Policy

What is our online return policy?

At Saltysea we will happily accept items in new & resellable condition with original hang tags and sanitary stickers attached for a full refund for the price of the garment. You will be responsible for return shipping cost(s). Saltysea is not liable for loss of garments being returned, so we recommend using a trackable delivery service.

You have 14 calendar days from the date of your purchase to issue your return your Saltysea garment. Your refund will be credited to the original form of payment used to make the purchase.

Please note: that there is no refund on sale items, they can be exchanged for a different size and or colour or returned for store credit.

What about if the garments are faulty?

Every product we send out is initially quality controlled, however, in the unlikely event of a faulty item, please contact us at stephanie@saltysea.co.nz as soon as possible so we can start the exchange process. 

Saltysea
 will bare the return shipping costs, so please keep your postage receipt and we will reimburse you if we deem the item to be faulty. If the package does not reach us safely, we will not be able to complete the exchange, so it is recommended to use a tracked method for safe delivery. Once your item is returned to us, has been inspected and if we deem it to be faulty, you will be given a store credit so you can repurchase from our online store.

Please note: We will not accept a refund for garments that have not been cared for correctly, so please make sure you check here for garment care.

 

What if I need to exchange something for a different size or colour?

Definitely, just make sure the garment is in new, unworn condition with it's original tags. You will be responsible for paying for the return shipping costs. It's best to contact us on stephanie@saltysea.co.nz or social @saltysea.shop beforehand and we help you choose the fit.

For international exchanges it's best if you contact us beforehand and we'll help you out.

 

When will I get my refund?

Once we receive your returned garment, please allow 2-3 business days for your return to be processed and then up to 5 business days for your bank to post the refund to your bank account. Your refund will only be credited back to the original form of payment when the purchase was made. We will send you an email when the refund has processed and cleared.

Please note... All our colours can slightly differ in each production run. We also shoot a lot of our photography out doors, therefore lighting may have an effect on the colour(s) in the photos and the fabric colour may appear slightly different in real life.
